Three of Jaguar Land Rover’s ‘Concept_e’ research demonstration vehicles are at the Cenex Low Carbon Vehicle Event in the UK, showcasing potential future Battery Electric Vehicle, Plug-In Hybrid and Mild Hybrid technologies.
These ‘Concept_e technologies’ are the output of an advanced powertrain research programme for state-of-the-art, next generation hybrid and electric powertrain technologies.
This research is part of a two-year project led by Jaguar Land Rover and part funded by the Innovate UK, a public body sponsored by the UK Government’s Department for Business, Innovation and Skills.
Involving 12 UK technology partners, the research project has brought together the UK’s leading engineers and technologists from academia, the supply chain and industry to help create a number of innovative solutions in the bid to lower vehicle emissions.

These three Concept_e vehicles will allow us to test and develop exciting new potential technologies that could form part of the low and zero emissions vision beyond 2020.
